Common Questions

Everything you need to know before applying

What does it cost to sell on Greyt?

Nothing right now! We’re offering zero commission for all founding vendors during our launch period. No listing fees, no monthly charges. We want to help Greyton’s makers get started without any barriers.

How long does approval take?

We review every application within 24–48 hours. You’ll receive an email as soon as your vendor account is approved and ready to go.

What can I sell?

Handmade crafts, art, locally produced food and drink, accommodation, experiences, activities, and services. If it’s made, grown, or offered in or around Greyton, it belongs here.

Do I need my own website?

Not at all. Once approved, you get your own vendor shop page on greyt.co.za where customers can browse all your products. You can share the link on social media, WhatsApp — anywhere.

How do payments work?

Payments happen directly between buyer and seller — we don’t take any money. You choose how customers pay: add your bank details for EFT, include a QR code, or any other method that works for you. It’s your shop, your way.

I sell at the Saturday Market. Can I join too?

Absolutely! Many of our vendors are Saturday Market regulars. Having an online presence means customers can find and order from you any day of the week — not just Saturdays.
