How does payment & delivery work?

Payment & delivery are arranged directly with the vendor. Greyt.co.za does not process funds, nor provide a delivery service.

Shoppers can add items from multiple vendors to a single order, and then each vendor will get their own order emailed to them on checkout.

Vendors can upload a QR code (such as Snapscan) to their profile which can be displayed to shoppers after checkout so payment can be made right away.

For local (Greyton & surrounds) orders we recommend offering free delivery or collection. Delivery elsewhere can have additional charges added to the order.

How do accommodation booking requests work?

Accommodation listings include a calendar. Options like minumum number of nights and pricing for extras are included in the accommodation booking request.

The booking request is sent as an email, and it is the responsibility of the establishment to either confirm or reject the booking and arrange payment. Payment QR codes can be included in the invoice as well as EFT details.

How do other types of bookings work

The Greyt.co.za booking system can be used to manage appointments or venues, make reservations or rent equipment. The vendor can define availability, setup calendars and pricing.

Booking requests are sent to the vendor who needs to accept or reject the booking and arrange payment. Payment QR codes can be included in the invoice as well as EFT details.

How do auctions work?

Only registered members can create or bid on auctions.

On creating an auction, you can set reserve price, end date, buy now price and other features.

It is the resposibility of the seller to ensure payment is received before handing over goods.

How do digital products work?

Digital, virtual or downloadable products can be any type of computer file or media, which is uploaded to the vendor store and stored in a secure location.

Digital products could include: eBooks, music, photographs, digital art or film.

Vendors can upload a QR code (such as Snapscan) to their profile which can be displayed to shoppers after checkout so payment can be made right away.

It is the resposibility of the seller to ensure payment is received before marking the order as paid in the vendor store admin area. Once the order is marked as paid, the customer will receive a personalised download link – which can be limited to only a certain number of uses.
